The college has two vice deans.
One was formerly named the Vice Dean and Teachers and Educational Leaders Development and Administration Core Process Owner, but is now renamed as the Vice Dean of Teachers’ Development Affairs. Appointed on merit, the Vice Dean for Teachers’ Development Affairs assists the dean with academic and administrative matters. The main duties of the Vice Dean for Teachers’ Development Affairs are delimited in the college’s legislation. The positions under the Vice Dean for Teachers’ Development Affairs include academic stream officers, an education and training officer, practicum and school linkage coordinator, CED and Student Affairs coordinator, as well as Registrar and Alumni services.

Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) is offered at the 12+2 Diploma and 12+1 Certificate levels. These academic programs are available in both regular and extension (weekend) programs. The college’s academic duties are carried out by 210 qualified staff, 91% of whom hold appropriate Master’s Degrees and an additional 4.5% who hold PhDs. Currently, over 38 academic staffs are pursuing their PhD degrees in Ethiopia and abroad.
