The Continuing Education and Student affairs coordinating Office
The Continuing Education and Student Affairs Coordinating Office has many duties and responsibilities related to regular and continuing programs. The office ensures that students receive guidance and counseling services, facilitates the organization of the student council, and is in charge of handling students’ disciplinary cases. They work in a virtual team assigned for investigation and forwarding decisions.
The office also ensures that students in the stream receive proper orientation on the academic and administrative regulations of the college. It initiates and administers social and cultural activities in collaboration with the College RROs and other concerned offices.
The office grants permissions of absence to students for serious social and health problems, reaching consensus among regular and continuing program students’ stream members. It coordinates the preparation of entrance exams for recruitment and selection of new college entrants, ensures timely preparation and implementation of timetables and starts classes as scheduled
The office also assigns teachers to advise and counsel regular and continuing students on academic issues coaches the effectiveness of implementation, organizes practicum programs, and orients stream teachers and students in collaboration with the Practicum and School Linkage Officer (PSO). It facilitates remedial programs for students with academic deficiencies, maintains academic and disciplinary records, reports all “F” cases to the academic commission with appropriate justification and ensures timely and appropriate feedback is given to student-teachers after every assessment for both regular and continuing programs.
